witty Regency romance, definitely delicious mischief
I adore the writing of Sophia Nash, and I am so excited that she has created a new series, "The Royal Entourage"! "Between the Duke and the Deep Blue Sea" features a half-French and totally charming hero, Alex Barclay. When he rescues lovely and lively Roxanne Vanderhaven from a murder attempt by her own husband, his own life is turned topsy-turvy in a most delightful manner. Banished to the country by the Prince Regent after a fateful night of debauchery, Alex is ordered to restore his own familial home and find a suitable bride. He is beset by all manner of marriage-minded females, put upon by his own great aunt, and tempted by the intelligent and enticing Roxanne, whom he is sheltering in his home. Roxanne is hiding out from her heinous husband, watching and waiting as he goes about "mourning" her and even going through with her funeral, which she secretly attends. Roxanne and Alex have a fiery attraction, complete with verbal sparring, deep, delicious kisses, and an unexpected...

Great Characters, Great Romance, and Humor
This was a refreshing and entertaining story filled with interesting characters and wonderful dialog. Alex Barclay, the new Duke of Kress, is in disgrace and is sent to his crumbling castle to restore it and find a rich, titled and scandal-free bride. On his way home, he rescues Roxanne Vanderhaven from a cliff. Her husband had assisted in her fall and now Roxanne is presumed dead. Alex reluctantly takes her home with him. She isn't exactly scandal-free!Roxanne is determined to take revenge on her husband and to start a new life. She is reluctant to depend on any man let alone the notorious Duke of Kress. However, despite their best efforts, the two fall in love. There are certainly impediments to their romance especially the fact the Roxanne is already married. The escapades that fill this story are both humorous and touching. The conversations between Roxanne and Alex are wonderful, blunt and humorous.I recommend the story to lovers of historical romance.

Terrific beginning to a new series
A rowdy bachelor party (attended by dukes and the prince regent himself) with questionable liquor being served has some serious consequences. One duke fails to make it to his own wedding, thereby losing his intended bride. Alex, duke of Kress, (whose valet served the liquor) is now disgraced, and exiled to his country estate by the prince, and ordered to find his own bride immediately. As Alex approaches his estate, he discovers Roxanne, clinging to a side of a cliff, holding on for dear life. Her "loving" husband had encouraged her near the edge to look for her dog, then abandoned her when she fell, hoping for her death. Alex takes her to his home as they try to decide how she should handle things, since her husband obviously wants her dead. He is an earl, and has powerful friends. After a few days, he has a funeral for her. Here begins the good part of the story. Although Roxanne is a commoner by birth, she became a countess upon her marriage. She was a good and dutiful...

Simply Put - OUTSTANDING
Spirited and passionate for life Lady Rosamund grew up loved and spoiled by an adoring father, but after an innocent and impulsive mistake her world came crashing down. To avoid a forced marriage with a man whom she knew loved another, she ran away and married a man who unbeknownst to her would show her over the next eight years what degradation and servitude was all about. Finally widowed and free without means to support herself she is saved by an invitation from the Dowager Duchess of St. Albyn to spend the season with her and her clandestine ladies club. Trying to stay in the shadows as much as possible and not draw attention to herself, she can't help being tempted by the dowager's sinfully handsome grandson, Luc St. Aubyn aka, Lord Fire and Ice.A war hero, Luc St. Aubyn is a mystery to most not only hiding his secret pain behind a blistering cynical persona, but his secret profession as the mysterious author behind a sarcastic and cynical dictionary that has taken...

I loved it!
Really, really loved this book! It was such a beautiful, passionate love story - the best I've read in a long time. The characters were richly drawn - especially the hero who was so charismatic and darkly humorous. He was brooding, sensitive, and oozing sexuality. The heroine, Rosamunde was an intriguing woman who longs to live life to the fullest but was forced to repress her desires due to previous scandal. And the dowager duchess who has invited her to stay with her for the season as well as a group of other widows was absolutely hilarious. This book is deeply emotional, very sensual, and the prose is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Lush, Lovely Definition of Relaxation
For many readers a good thriller or (horrors!) romantic suspense is the way to go, but if you have more than enough stress in your life with no need to go out and purchase a book to add more--go no further than this terrific book. Written in a descriptive manner than takes you right into the heart of a beautiful setting, with caring individuals throughout the novel that are unpredictible and fresh, this writer is well worth your investment of time and $$$. The only reason I didn't give a higher rating is the "dreadful" secret takes a little tooo looong to be explained. This writer will be an auto-buy for me from now on when I need an escape from both the rigors of the real world and so many "urban fantasy" popular novels. Find a pile of fluffy pillows, some soft socks so your bare feet don't get chilled, a lovely cuppa' tea and take a break.

" Love With The Perfect Scoundrel is sexy and sensual; a lush Historical Romance that sizzles off the page!" BCM
Love With The Perfect Scoundrel had me at hello. Seriously though, I was instantly drawn into the story and enjoyed every single minute of it. I have read hundreds of Historical Romance novels from the Victorian era and I have to say that THIS book, is in my top 10! With a story and plot that is more creative then many I have read, the Author takes advantage of the weather, social strictures (or lack there of) and with a genuine humanity, creates the distressing and ultimately delicious situations that Grace and Michael find themselves in. I immediately felt the heart-pounding attraction between the main characters and this beautiful, sensual love story. Though it is set in the Victorian era, this story had a fresh feel that amused and entertained as much as it titillated. The Author has an exceptional talent for writing and her distinctive story writing talents will, if they have not already, set her apart from many of her peers. This delightful book left me with a big smile on my...

Loved it!
My favorite Sophia Nash book yet! The first half was the perfect development of Michael and Grace's attraction towards each other. They were snowbound together! It was funny, poignant, and believable. The second half introduced many of the characters from the Widow's Club. Again, very funny. I laughed, cried, and then laughed again. Love these books!

Nash Bridges Here At Last!
The official DVD release is here, finally!!! After years of patience, waiting diligently for good news, any news, concerning 'Nash Bridges' release on DVD, we can all rest assured that we will have a copy of the first season come October 14th of this year!First of all, let me just say that 'Nash Bridges' is one of the best police drama series of all time, if not the greatest. What made it great was its ability to fuse action, drama, comedy and heartfelt emotion together into one cohesive package that brought a wonderful hour of entertainment each week to millions of fans. I'm sure most of us NB fans are still scratching our heads over why this show was cancelled after six wonderful seasons, because quite frankly there wasn't anything near as entertaining on TV at the time, nor has there been since, with a few exceptions. It was very unfortunate that we did not get a season finale, let a lone a series finale, as it stands the last episode was sudden and without warning,...

You will not be disappointed with this show
It's finally here! I have been waiting on this for so long , that its actual release comes as a shock. One thing's for certain, this show is one of the best, if not THE best crime drama ever made. Yes, even better than Miami Vice, Don Johnson's breakout hit show of the 80's. Don Johnson is an incredible actor, and he is at his best on this show, no doubt about it. And Cheech Marin? What else is there to say except that he is funny as usual, but on this show there's something else about him too. With these characters, you actually get emotionally involved in their day to day jobs and lives. It's just a great show, and awesome supporting cast too. It's just unbelievable that it was canceled after 5 great seasons!

Nash

Nash’s shooting can also be highlighted by looking at his true shooting percentage, a measure of scoring efficiency that takes into account 2-point field goals, 3-point field goals and free throws. In fact, in the nine-year period from 2001-2 through 2009-10, Nash piloted the league’s most efficient offense six times and the league’s second-most efficient offense three times. Furthermore, John Stockton (seven times), Nash (three times) and Chris Paul (two times) are the only N. B. A. players since 1964-65 to finish a season with an assist percentage of at least 50 percent. Nash’s career true shooting percentage of. 605 is the ninth-best mark in N. B. A. history among players with at least 10,000 career points. Nash has led the league in assist percentage in four of the last six seasons, and is on a pace to do so once again this season. But Nash did not become a household name until he returned to Phoenix as a free agent in the summer of 2004, winning back-to-back Most Valuable Player awards after the 2004-5 and 2005-6 seasons. There have been nine cases in N. B. A. history in which a player shot at least 50 percent from the field, at least 40 percent from the 3-point line and at least 90 percent from the free-throw line (while meeting the minimum requirements in all...

Nash's missives become more frantic and disjointed as they go on, and it soon becomes obvious that Mr. Nash isn't playing with a full deck of Call of Cthulhu cards. His new story, The Correspondence of Cameron Thadeus Nash is certainly different from anything else of Campbell's that I've read. But then slowly, as Nash fails to place any of his own work with Weird tales, he begins to accuse Lovecraft of stealing his ideas and keeping editor in chief Farnsworth Wright from buying any of his stories. It purports to be a group of letters to H. P. Lovecraft by the titular Mr. Nash. We don't see Lovecraft's side of the correspondence but his answers can be inferred from what Nash says in reply.

Bridgeport attorney Charles Willinger, who represents Nash, exclusively told Schneidau that he believes that the near-fatal mauling could have been avoided. Nash is hoping to sue the state for $150 million, Schneidau reported, but a decision on the whether the lawsuit will be allowed to proceed is pending. He believes Nash should be suing the estate of the now late Sandra Herold instead.
